JUnit Rules

Rules provide a possibility to intercept test method calls similar as an AOP framework would do. Comparable to an around advice in AspectJ you can do useful things before and/or after the actual test execution. Rules allow very flexible addition or redefinition of the behavior of each test method in a test class. Testers can reuse or extend existing provided Rules or write their own.
