Intel Buys IT Security Startup PasswordBox

Security startup PasswordBox has been acquired by Intel Corp. Launched in June 2013, PasswordBox provides free and paid identity management services for online and mobile security.
PasswordBox' goal is to "rid people of passwords and make the adoption of new authentication as simple and seamless as possible." The company's software allows for both one-click and one-tap logins on PCs, laptops and mobile devices. Some 14 million users have already downloaded PasswordBox' software.
