How to Point Your Email to GoDaddy in Canada

GoDaddy MX records

US MX RECORDS

Fully Qualified HostTypePriorityValue
yourdomain.comMX10mailstore1.secureserver.net
yourdomain.comMX0smtp.secureserver.net

Although you can point your email at any time, we recommend following these steps before pointing your name servers to avoid any interruptions to your email service.

Changing your DNS records

Be careful! Unless you are updating MX records you previously changed to point to another mail host, you should not delete any existing DNS records. Doing so may cause your store to become unavailable. Instead, the following MX records should be added to your current DNS records.
1. In your Bigcommerce control panel, select Settings › Server Settings › DNS Records.
In some versions of the control panel, this is located under Setup & Tools› Advanced tools › DNS Records.
2. Under the Mail Servers tab, change your MX record to the ones provided by GoDaddy. Do not keep any of the original MX records. For more information on changing DNS records, see this article.
3. Click on the Web Hosts tab.
4. Edit the TXT record and replace the Value field as shown:
Fully Qualified HostTypeValue
yourdomain.comTXTv=spf1 +a +mx include:_spf.bigcommerce.com include:spf.secureserver.net -all
5. Add the following two CNAME records.
Fully Qualified HostTypeValue
email.yourdomain.comCNAMEemail.secureserver.net
smtp.yourdomain.comCNAMEsmtp.secureserver.net
