Email aliases of Gmail

Add more domains to your G Suite account

If you own other domains, you can add them to your G Suite account. You can also add a subdomain, for example, partners.kitbeat.com.

Gmail doesn't offer traditional aliases, but you can receive messages sent to your.username+any.alias@gmail.com. For example, messages sent to jane.doe+notes@gmail.com are delivered to jane.doe@gmail.com.

Gmail actually ignores periods that are inserted into your email address, and cuts off anything that appears after a plus sign. So if I sent an email to it.i88.ca@gmail.com, it would be delivered to iti88ca@gmail.com, instead. It’s similar with plus signs.

You can set up filters to automatically direct these messages to Trash, apply a label or star, skip the inbox, or forward to another email account.
