AWS forum nickname replaces username in S3 permissions

The grantee name you see in S3 is associated with your root account.

By default when creating a bucket (or uploading an object) an ACL rule is created granting all permissions to the root account, which in the console is represented by a friendly version of the canonical user ID, which is either your e-mail username, or if you have posted to the forums, your forum nickname

See this link in our documentation for more information, and for how to retrieve the full length canonical user ID: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/ACLOverview.html

To change the grantee friendly name, you can simply change your forum name using this link: https://forums.aws.amazon.com/username.jspa?#
